New installation at SCEA DENIEUL

On September 8, 2023, SCEA DENIEUL held an open house. The day was an opportunity to present in detail the advanced facilities and equipment at the pig farm.

The building has been designed to provide optimal living conditions for the animals:

  • 80 places in the farrowing room, equipped with welfare crate to ensure the sows’ well-being
  • 223 places mating
  • 2,320 post-weaning places with slatted floors heated by lisiothermics, to promote piglet growth and well-being.
  • 3,800 fattening pens with air inlets equipped with Cooling to regulate temperature and create an optimal environment.

The best equipment installed to guarantee efficient breeding and respect for animal welfare:

  • Feeding is carefully managed with the Multifeeder system, used to feed sows in the gestating, quarantine and fattening stages.
  • The pneumatic Multiphase (Optimat) is used for post-weaning, with liquid feed mix at the trough in the farrowing pens.
  • The quarantine area is equipped with Delta fin heaters powered by a condensing gas boiler to guarantee optimum conditions.
  • The hot water plates are supplied by lisiothermie.
  • Drying and pre-heating of rooms (farrowing, gestating, mating, fattening) are carried out by HEOSS gas unit heaters to ensure a comfortable environment for the animals.
  • Economical ventilation controlled by the Digiclim NG touchscreen controller ensures an ideal atmosphere for animal well-being.
  • The Humiclim system cools the farrowing, gestating, mating and fattening rooms.

An open day gave visitors the chance to get a close-up view of this equipment, which testifies to SCEA DENIEUL’s commitment to animal welfare and performance.

New Selfifeeder GFI installation

A look back at SARL LANGLAIS’s open house.

450 sows farrowing-to-finishing

  • 80 sows in farrowing
  • 320 sows in gestating
  • 4,500 fattening pigs

With its new 1680-place fattening building, SARL LANGLAIS demonstrates its commitment to technology and animal performance.

From birth, each animal is identified by a UHF RFID chip, enabling precise, individualized tracking.

Installation of the Selfifeeder GFI (UHF) the unique solution to feed individually the fatteners in multiphase and restricted way, combined with daily weighing, guarantees optimal feeding and proper growth.

A Pneumatic distribution system with the 8-ways valve is entirely in stainless steel facilitates feed ration management. In addition, a cooling system has been installed to guarantee optimum comfort conditions for the animals.

VIV ASIA 2023

VIV Asia 2023 ended successfully and demonstrated its impact on the international livestock market during these three days. With more than 47,000 visitors from 112 countries, the event maintained a stable attendance and even slightly exceeded the previous edition.

The event hosted more than 1,186 exhibitors from 57 countries, representing five continents, who presented the latest developments in their respective sectors.

The 2023 edition was an opportunity for Asserva to come back stronger to the Asian market with the presentation of its different concepts and its latest products.

Opening Door to ASN Experimental Station – Spain

Discover the experimental station of the company ASN in Spain

The ASN company is a very important player in animal feed for the first ages.

With the participation of our local dealer, the company Salleras Hermanos S.L., we are proud to equip the station with the Optimat Air concept that will distribute the 7 rooms of 1250 piglets on the post-weaning part of the building.

Optimat :

– Distribution weighed and calibrated at the pen.

– Careful management of a multiphase feeding plan.

– A multiple and evolving feeding plan to the pen.

– Automated feeding transitions.

In addition, ASN has chosen to equip 4 pens with the Pig-Insight concept.

Connected Organic farm

On Friday, April 1st, Arnaud JOLLY, breeder in Plaintel (22) opened the doors of his farm to present his new 1200 places fattening building.

Building on straw BIO model with outside runs. Parks of 200 pigs equipped with RFID chips (radio identification).

  • 36 GFI stations (individualized feeding control station).
  • 6 sorting stations.
  • Pneumatic multiphase for the feeding of the GFI selfifeeder hoppers.

The large number of visitors had the opportunity to discover the Multiphase system as well as the new Asserva concept, the GFI Selfifeeder. The solution to feed individually rationed pigs in multiphase.

Open farm day at SCEA DE KERBIC

Thanks to Gilles and Marie Agnès for their welcome and the planning day.

Gilles Fassot is definitely not a breeder like the others. Owner of the Kerbic farm, he began his career in marketing and perfumery. In seven years, he left everything behind to take over the pig farm of his in-laws. Step by step, he made the farm evolve towards reasoned agriculture: livestock on straw, without antibiotics.

The characteristics of the building & equipment:

  • 5 gestation rooms equipped with the Selfifeeder concept (5 sow modules and 2 cochette modules per room).
  • 192 maternity places equipped with the Maternéo concept
  • dosers with automatic opening glassware & infirmary.

SPACE exhibition 2021 : A pleasure to meet you again !

After several months and the cancellation of SPACE 2020, we was really excited to welcome you in our Booth during the SPACE 2021 at Rennes (France). With  still the impressive and nice booth !

Again the SPACE exhibition is the place to be for the french livestock business.

It was a really pleasure to discuss in « Real » Face to face with our partners and the farmers.

The Exhibition was also the good time to show our different solutions in intelligent system like :

CAHE 2021. Nanchang city !

With more than 200 000 visitors, the CAHE exhibition at Nanchang city was an impressive show ! From several years, ASSERVA company with its local team introduced our Intelligent technologies to the chinese livestock business. With 90 m² in good position on French Business Pavillon, the booth was always « Full activated ». Also a good time to welcome our current customers and to discuss about the projects.  ASSERVA keeps and increases its position in the chinese market as High Innovative and efficient solution. Several chinese projects are in progress, with offcourse some good news coming soon…

Cloarec Farm (France) : a new kind of building

This building, which was commissioned in October, is composed of 1280 weaning places, with a centralized exhaust ventilation – all the air is extracted in a central corridor, under the rooms, in a constant positive pressure, and turbines are pulling this air outside.

There are also 2 finishing rooms of 340 places each with two areas : a resting « warm » area inside the building, and a feeding area outside, with concrete feeders. Pigs can move freely between these two zones. There are rolling shutters on the outside zone.

The feeding is ensured with the multiphase solution of Asserva, called Optimat, with a disc chain, to distribute the feed quantity adapted for each feeder and make transition between different feeds, according to the number and age of the animals.

This innovative building is an alternative adapated to a special market segment which is asking for more animal welfare.

CAHE Exhibition (China)

The China Animal Husbandry Exhibition (CAHE) is planned every year since 1992.

Despite the difficult situation related to COVID, Asserva, with Chris our representative Chinese commercial, maintained its international presence and in particular in China with its participation in the 18th edition.  A very good time, to talk with our local customers and introduce our new solutions.With this 3rd participation in this show, Asserva keeps a strong activity in China, and starts to be an important and serious player into the Chinese swine industry.
