Innov’Space 2025

✨ The SPACE Rennes 2025 has just come to an end, and we’re thrilled to have experienced such an outstanding edition!

These three days gave us the opportunity to meet and exchange with our partners, distributors, and customers. Thank you all for your visits and for the quality of our conversations 🙏.

🎉 We are also very proud to have received an award at the Innov’Space competition for our robotic arm Scan Pig — a great recognition of our commitment to innovation in livestock farming.

This edition was also a special one for us: it was Xavier Cordon’s last SPACE before his retirement. After 35 participations, we would like to warmly thank him for his dedication and exemplary career within the Asserva team 👏.

A huge thank-you to the entire Asserva team for their hard work and to everyone who contributes every day to the advancement of our solutions.

This device integrates cutting-edge artificial intelligence, capable of automatically capturing ultrasound video sequences and precisely estimating the backfat thickness in breeding pigs. It provides livestock producers with reliable and objective zootechnical data, enabling accurate assessment of the animals’ physiological status and optimization of decisions related to selection, reproduction, and herd management.

Through real-time, high-resolution analysis of multiple performance indicators (such as fat thickness, body condition, and growth), the solution allows farm managers to respond quickly, adjust health monitoring protocols, and implement targeted precision feeding strategies.

By automating these critical tasks, the tool helps reduce operational costs, improve feed efficiency, minimize economic losses from delayed diagnostics, and ultimately enhance the profitability and quality standards of pig production.
